In 1997, a group of tennis players and other volunteers raised the funds, with the assistance of additional funding from West Oxfordshire District Council and Sport England, to build the Ramsden Tennis Court in 2000.
The tennis court is for the benefit of everyone in the village and neighbourhood. There are currently around 90 club members.
Coaching is available, especially for the under 10’s which takes place during Easter and Summer holidays with an LTA coach.
See the Notice Board for forthcoming events.

Another lovely early spring Bank Holiday tennis event took place on 5th May, when
players took part in the Round Robin Tournament, now an annual event on the Ramsden
tennis club calendar.
The 12 players and spectators tucked into hot chipolatas and
baps afterwards and a good time was had by all.
Pauline, although nursing a painful shoulder and borrowed tennis racquet, still managed to beat the other competitors to win the Ramsden trophy. More events to follow throughout the year.
