The Parish Councillors are :

It represents the interests of the people of Ramsden to other public authorities and is consulted on things like public transport, road improvements, licensing, tourism, and crime prevention. The Council is notified of all planning applications that affect the village and these are considered at Parish Council meetings.

The Parish Council meets on the third Wednesday of the month (except in August and December) at 8pm in Ramsden Memorial Hall and welcomes members of the public to attend.

Time is set aside at the beginning of the meeting when they can speak on matters of concern.

Ramsden Parish Council seeks to promote the well-being and the facilities of the village.
