The Ramsden Memorial Hall 200 Club
The Ramsden 200 Club is the Village's monthly lottery, managed by members of the Memorial Hall Committee. It is based on a weekly contribution of £1, collected either monthly, quarterly, biannually or annually and the funds raised are divided equally between Ramsden Memorial Hall and St James’ Church, Ramsden. A monthly draw is held in the Royal Oak pub at about 9.00pm on the last Friday of each month when two prizes of £50 and £25 are won. Additionally there is a generous Royal Oak prize of a £50 meal voucher which can only be won if the club member whose card is drawn is present at the draw…. and several members have been lucky winners.
Currently there are around 100 members of the club, mainly villagers but also including friends of the village from far and near.
Try and encourage your friends or relations to join -
More members mean more prizes!
If you would like to join the 200 Club, please write for an application form or telephone the Treasurer,
