Rules for entering your images for the 2010 Ramsden Calendar

wpc73bd7e8.png

Images may be drawn from photographs taken in the past, or between now and the deadline for entries.

Photographs should be taken in Ramsden or in the surrounding area up to a distance of about 10 miles.  The aim of the calendar is to reflect life in and around Ramsden, so photographs from too far afield will not be considered.

There is no specific theme - Submitted photographs should simply reflect the spirit and nature of a particular month.

You may submit as many entries as you like.

Photographs should be high-quality, of digital format and of sufficient clarity to be enlarged to A4 size.  It is advisable to set your camera to the highest quality setting, although standard settings will usually just about make the minimum resolution.  Pictures taken at low resolution will not be of sufficient quality to be expanded to the required size.

If photographs contain a small number of easily recognised individuals, written permission to use the image in the 2010 Ramsden Calendar must be obtained from the subjects.  This does not apply to crowd scenes.

The decision of the judges, however bizarre and capricious they may seem (and that’s just the judges) will be final.
